A Visit to Maba Jaffar

The other day, ArtMalaysia Mag paid a visit to the verdant abode and sunlight-kissed studio of artist Maba Jaffar. Stepping into her house was akin to entering a quieter realm bordered by lush greenery; Maba's family passion for nature is readily apparent, and especially so in Maba's artworks.

Maba has a keen eye for detail that shines through in her depictions of nature, landscapes and wildlife, no matter the medium. Anyone who spends time in her garden will surely feel the daily pressures and worries slip away. A cage full of adorable sugar-gliders help too! Speaking of adorable, we were very taken by her unique pebble art but sadly, they were all sold out = (
